WE WANT TO MAKE ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACCESSIBLE TO ALL YOUNG PEOPLE

The world is changing fast. Knowing about 'business' will be an increasingly important life skill for the generation of tomorrow.

That's why we've created the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) – a not-for-profit initiative that’s all about getting 13 to 17-year-olds excited about business. Created by a team of passionate individuals with incredible support from UCL School of Management, The Prince's Trust, Francis Holland School and some of the UK's leading entrepreneurs. Starting out initially as summer holiday business workshops and through a subsequent pilot virtually with Francis Holland School in 2020, the Young Entrepreneurs Academy is now proud to announce the launch of our interactive learning series, 'The Basics of Business: Beginner to Boss'.

The series has been designed to teach the real-life basics of business and includes inspirational stories from our Resident Entrepreneurs, who have kindly shared their wisdom, insights and secrets of both success and failure. A CV-enhancing certificate is awarded on successful completion of the series, along with the chance to enter our very own pitch competition, with the opportunity to win a £2,000 investment for your business idea.

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy will be  providing a broader offering in 2025 with the introduction of internships and mentoring programmes.

Our Mission

OUR MISSION

We’re dedicated to sparking entrepreneurial flames within today’s youth by teaching ‘real-life’ business skills that will be essential in the future. Knowing about the basics of business will be an increasingly important life skill for the generation of tomorrow and should be accessible to all.

Fostering diversity and inclusion is at the heart of our offering and we exist to give equal opportunity to any 13 to 17 year old that has the desire to learn about entrepreneurship. The more diverse the mix of young entrepreneurs we reach, the more unique and innovative business ideas will be developed. Different backgrounds bring diverse ways of thinking, sparking new perspectives, fresh ideas, and better results.

If you would like to find out more about partnering with the Young Entrepreneurs Academy to support young minds in developing their entrepreneurial skills, please contact our Partnerships Team at info@youngentrepreneurs.academy.

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is an impact venture and relies on the generous support of partners to help us make entrepreneurship accessible to as many 13 to 17-year-olds as possible, regardless of background. We work with a range of partners to make this happen. From delivery partners who enable us to support young entrepreneurs in various ways, to partners who give financial and non-financial resources so that we can broaden the impact of our support. We can’t thank those that have supported us on our mission enough.

We understand the significance of forging long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with corporate partners from various sectors and regions, enabling us to create a sustainable positive impact for young people who need it most. We will work with you to design and tailor our partnership for mutual benefit to both organisations. Working in partnership with us has many benefits like meeting corporate social responsibility, connecting with a diverse talent pipeline, furthering DEI initiatives, all while supporting a positive PR and brand profile.

There are multiple ways for us to work together to equip the next generation with the confidence, skills, and knowledge they need to shape their own futures and make a lasting impact on the world. For more information and to discuss partnerships, please do get in touch.
